CENTRAL TRAINING IN FRENCH IN WALLONIA
Na nauw overleg tussen BULDO vzw/UBPDM asbl en de Ligue des Professeurs de Danse Sportive et de Loisirs asbl is besloten om voortaan ook opleidingen in Wallonië, uitsluitend in de Franse taal, te organiseren.
Daartoe organiseert de Ligue des Professeurs de Danse Sportive et de Loisirs begin januari 2026, onder auspiciën van BULDO/UBPDM, een eerste opleiding tot Bachelor-Associate in standaarddansen. Het lesprogramma is in overeenstemming met de opleidingen in het Nederlands en de examens worden ook in Wallonië georganiseerd.
Kandidaten die slagen voor de examens ontvangen een diploma van BULDO vzw/UBPDM asbl.

Events
Standard & Latin American dance
Both disciplines represent a collection of 5 dances with partner that are usually taught in a total package.
Standard (Ballroom): English Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slowfox and Quickstep.
Latin: Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, Paso Doble and Samba.
Freestyle
Disco is a hugely energetic dance style that combines agility, jumping power, expression, finishing and fast movements to fast beat music. This style is gaining tremendous popularity and is great fun to do because of its high showmanship.
Modern dance is a stage dance without a fixed pattern of movement. It is an umbrella term for several very
individual dance techniques from the first half of the twentieth century These types of contemporary dance forms are now commonly referred to as "contemporary dance.
Jazz Dance borrows from different styles, techniques and applications. Thus, the character of jazz dance is eclectic, meaning that it blends movement elements from other dance techniques and styles. These elements are combined with the distinctive authentic jazz elements in dance training and choreography.
Hip Hop is a modern dance form that has been "in" for several years. It is a style that originated as street dance and developed into a technical dance form.
