Modern dance

Modern dance is a stage dance without a fixed pattern of movement. It is a collective term for several highly individual dance techniques from the first half of the twentieth century These types of contemporary dance forms are now commonly referred to as "contemporary dance.

Jazz

Jazz ballet, also called jazz dance or jazzdance, is a free way of dancing that is similar in structure to classical ballet but based on popular music such as jazz, rock and hip-hop. The movements and music are jazzy - much looser. It also uses elements of classical ballet technique with summary isolation techniques of head, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, fingers, chest and pelvis (hips).

Jazz dance borrows from a variety of styles, techniques and applications. Thus, the character of jazz dance is eclectic, meaning that it mixes movement elements from other dance techniques and styles. These elements are combined with the distinctive authentic jazz elements in dance training and choreography.

The origin of the word jazz ballet is unknown. Probably the name simply stems from confusion with the original jazzdance, which had always been a modern version of classical ballet. In the 1970s, disco emerged and there was a split in "modern" music.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a modern dance form that has been "in" for several years. It is a style that originated as street dance and developed into a technical dance form .

HipHop – Lyrical uses Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Tap techniques. Tight dance steps are combined with a nice flow. The dance style is often seen in video clips (Justin Timberlake, Usher and Chris Brown). On Lyrics and soft Hip Hop beats you learn to 'dance' a story. Hip Hop is brought in a more expressive and sensitive way. And this is what makes it so much fun, challenging and innovative.
